Its really hard...

Being the mother of a baby you have never seen and dont even know...

Going a little crazy waiting...

I am ready...

Maybe more posts soon to come...I have lots of new pictures of the girls, just no time to post them! :)

Hang in there, girl! I know the wait can be hard- just keep busy! Praying for peace as you wait! You know he is being so loved on and taken such good care of!! Really, who can say that of their orphanage?! Hugs to you!!

Traveling to Ethiopia to bring Adam Ezekial!!!! Gotcha day Dec 13th, 2009!!!!!!

Passed court today!!!!! Zek is our son forever!!!!!

Referral day!!! We got to see pictures of our 3 week old baby boy for the first time!!!!

Officially #2 on the boys list and #3 on the siblings list!

Home Study final approval with AGCI and background check came in. Home Study ready to be picked up!
Dossier mailed to AGCI!!!!

Changes to our home study made and sent back to AGCI for approval. Received Christie's passport in the mail

Sent With Eyes Wide Open workbook to AGCI and sent in our I600A application

Hear that AGCI has our rough draft of our home study in hand!

Email adoption support center our changes to the rough draft

June 9th, 2009
Received rough draft of home study via email! yay

June 1st, 2009
Had our physicals and TB test. also recieved our last adoption class certificate. We are now DONE with getting together all of our documents!

Christie went and applied for passport (adam already has his)

May 20th, 2009
Picked up criminal arrest letter and took a bunch of documents to Adoption Support Center (our home study agency) - all we have to do for the home study now is our medical checks (appointments on June 1st) yay!

Sent off Power of Attorney to be state certified

May 16th, 2009
Had a bunch of documents notarized

May 15, 2009
Homestudy appointment in home. Fingerprinted for Homestudy and requested our criminal history letters.

Dossier run through call with AGCI

Received Dossier packet in mail

May 9, 2009
updated Belles (our dog) vaccines for homestudy

May 6, 2009
1st homestudy office appointment and overnighted orientation packet and first payment to AGCI

May 2, 2009
had all of our orientation packet notarized and approved for LOC
